R1121/1 Development of the Junction Between Hessa Street and Al Khail Road

The project involves widening the existing at-grade road sections along Hessa Street and Al Khail Road to increase corridor capacity and improve overall traffic performance. As part of the Hessa Street–Al Khail Road Interchange upgrade, a new first-level Collector–Distributor (C-D) bridge will be constructed on Al Khail Road, together with new second- and third-level directional ramps. In addition, a new braided ramp will be constructed along Al Khail Road to facilitate seamless traffic movements from Hessa Street, enhancing connectivity, safety, and operational efficiency across the corridor.
