Recognizing the vital importance of renewable energy for a sustainable future, Mapa Group is an active investor and operator in the renewable energy sector. We have extensive experience, particularly in the development of hydroelectric power plant projects. To date, we have completed the construction of 10 hydroelectric power plants with a total renewable energy generation capacity of approximately 250 megawatts. In addition to providing renewable energy, these hydroelectric power plants also serve as a critical backup power source during major power outages because they can generate power instantly for the grid. The efficient use of water and ensuring water security are among our top priorities. As Mapa Group, we consider ourselves a leader in the construction sector when it comes to addressing water security and establishing mechanisms for efficient water use. We operate in countries that often face water shortages, developing state-of-the-art water infrastructure—including reservoirs and pipelines—to help regions distribute water more efficiently. To date, Mapa Group has constructed nine water pipelines with a total length of approximately 3,000 km to address acute water shortages in regions such as Algeria and Saudi Arabia.
