Since 2021, we have been a participant in the United Nations Global Compact. The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. As a participant, Mapa Group has publicly committed to adopt the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and take action to deliver on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that sustainability is one of the keys to business success and we strive for sustainability. As such, each year we will be submitting to the UN Global Compact and publicly disclosing to our stakeholders our Communication on Progress (COP) which describes the progress we have made over the past year in implementing the objectives of the UN Global Compact.

As Mapa Group, we submitted to the UN Global Compact its second annual Communication on Progress (COP) for 2023, communicating our efforts to support and uphold the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in each of the four areas (human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption). The COP includes the Statement of Continued Support from Mapa Group CEO, Murathan Doruk Günal, expressing continued support for the UN Global Compact and renewing Mapa Group’s ongoing commitment to this initiative.
